Furniture Design

The Pistache lamp is an individual project developed for an undergraduate subject in which students are stimulated to build a lamp from scratch. It is made up of independent, modular parts which stack up when closed/turned off, and bind together through magnets when open/turned on. Its concept lies in the freedom of interaction between the user and the object, offering a sense of creativity and personalisation that opposes to products dictated by large scale manufactures.
